At a scrum of media during the SEC spring meetings in Miramar Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, Arkansas men’s basketball coach John Calipari provided an update on the Razorbacks’ 2024–25 schedule.

Although Calipari would not disclose the teams Arkansas would play, he did state that “most of the stuff is done” in that regard. He stated that the Razorbacks “want to” play in Madison Square Garden in New York and Dallas, and that they will play a nonconference game in North Little Rock. “That there may be one team that I try to do a home-and-home with,” Calipari added.

Calipari declared, “National games are necessary.” “You’ve got to play in Madison Square Garden.”
