ESPN REPORT: Utah Jazz Sign A Strong Megastar With Cleveland Cavaliers That Worth 95.5 Million….
Right now, the Cleveland Cavaliers must decide whether to move All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell to another team in exchange for a huge haul of assets or extend his contract. It turns out that there’s a very good chance the former star of the Utah Jazz will sign a new deal.
After being chosen by the Denver Nuggets with the 13th overall choice in the 2017 NBA Draft, Mitchell started his NBA career, but the Utah Jazz quickly acquired him. Ben Simmons was the center of attention for the first part of the season, but as the regular season came to a close, he was averaging an incredible 20.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
Despite losing to Simmons for Rookie of the Year, Mitchell’s breakout campaign cemented his status as one of the league’s most exciting young players. Even though Mitchell was successful on an individual basis, he struggled to get the Jazz into the playoffs and was often eliminated throughout the years.
Mitch was dealt to the Cavaliers as Utah started its rebuilding process. Despite his early success with the organization, Mitchell’s time with the Cavaliers may be coming to an end given their recent playoff defeat at the hands of Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics.
