According to an official press release, former Indiana men’s basketball guard Romeo Langford will travel to Las Vegas to play in the NBA Summer League with the Philadelphia 76ers.
During the 2023–24 NBA G-League season, Langford most recently played for the Salt Lake City Stars, where he averaged 11.9 points, 1.9 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game. He was selected with the 14th overall choice by the Boston Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft. In 2022, he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs, then in 2023, he became a free agency and joined the Utah Jazz.
One of the most anticipated prospects in the class of 2018, he was a five-star recruit when he arrived at Indiana from New Albany High School. With 16.5 points, he led the Hoosiers in scoring.
