Huge Trade: Kings Make A Huge Signing With Miami Heat Worth 169.6 Million After He Decline Lakers Offer….
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Sacramento Kings are considering dealing DeMar DeRozan. The six-time All-Star DeRozan hopes to sign with the Miami Heat, but financial constraints may prevent him from doing so. He is still a free agent and is being pursued by several organizations, including the Los Angeles Lakers.
DeRozan, 34, has not exhibited any symptoms of aging, as evidenced by his stellar play with the Chicago Bulls last season, where he played the most minutes per game in the NBA and averaged 24.0 points and 5.3 assists per contest.
While the Kings are supposedly eager to move Harrison Barnes and Kevin Huerter from Sacramento, the Bulls are open to discussing a sign-and-trade scenario involving either player.
Despite adding players like Malik Monk and Jalen McDaniels recently, Sacramento still wants to add a veteran scorer like DeRozan to strengthen its lineup.
The Kings, under general manager Monte McNair, have only made one first-round appearance in recent years despite being competitive in the difficult Western Conference.
Although Sacramento and Chicago have not yet reached a contract, the Kings are prepared to continue negotiations in the event that DeRozan’s other suitors lose interest. DeRozan, who has a track record of success in the playoffs, is a great addition to any team trying to bolster its roster for the next campaign.
