So Terrible: Five Mens dies after Plane crash in Pigeon Forge near….

WATE: PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. The individual who was involved in a Thursday crash in Pigeon Forge has passed away, as to the Pigeon Forge Police Department. The Rod Run incident was less than a mile away from the collision.

According to information released by Police Chief Richard Catlett on Saturday, the collision occurred close to the Parkway and Jake Thomas Road intersection.

According to Catlett, the police department looked into the collision and found that the man’s scooter was between the sidewalk and the white line on the road when he approached a car that was stopped at a red light. The man reportedly struck the door after someone inside the car opened it.

The man was identified as 31-year-old Charleston, Indiana resident Jeremy Hanes Jr. by the Pigeon Forge Police Department on Monday. Hanes was transported by Lifestar to UT Medical Center following the collision, according to the police department. He passed away there on Friday.

Additionally, the police department announced on Monday that the investigation is still ongoing and that all people involved have been identified and are still on the scene. At first, Catlett said the police had not established whether the individual was taking part in the Rod Run activities.
