After the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 2023 season collapsed in the second half and after he signed a huge contract extension this offseason, quarterback Trevor Lawrence is full of optimism.

Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk reports that Lawrence stated, “The best days are definitely ahead of us,” about the Jaguars during an interview on NFL Network’s “The Insiders” program on Thursday. Speaking for me, I believe I still have a long way to go until I play my greatest football, so I’m quite happy about that. We have an extremely talented squad this year. Since I’ve been here, I believe this is the best squad we’ve had, and I can’t wait to watch it gel throughout training camp and the regular season.”Lawrence

Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars, signed a huge contract extension this offseason, and he doesn’t seem to be losing confidence despite the team’s 2023 second-half collapse.

As Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk notes, Lawrence stated about the Jaguars on Thursday, “The best days are definitely ahead of us,” during an appearance on NFL Network’s “The Insiders” show. Speaking for myself, I’m incredibly thrilled about the fact that I believe I still have a long way to go until I play my greatest football. We have a tremendously strong team this year. I’m eager to watch this team gel during training camp and the regular season because I believe it to be the greatest we’ve had while I’ve been here.”
