Top prospects Koa Peat, Matthew Able and others shine on….

Another fantastic competition day took place at Adidas 3SSB in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Friday. College coaches were gathered on the sidelines, observing a multitude of gifted athletes. In today’s recruiting notebook, we’ll examine the whereabouts of some of the best prospects at Adidas 3SSB as well as the college coaches who watched them play from the court.

On Friday morning, Peat made his debut in Rock Hill following his gold medal success with Team USA. Thanks to his physicality, sophisticated offensive skill set, post-talent, rebounding ability, and overall game, Peat is considered one of the best prospects in the country. Peat says he does not currently have any scheduled formal visits, but he is being solicited by some of the best schools in the country, and he does not have a deadline for making a decision.

This week is SEC Media Days in Dallas, which officially kicks off the 2024 season in the most competitive and recently enlarged college football league. The league’s power rankings have been updated, and it’s possible that more than half of the SEC could be rated in several preseason polls come next month—a record for a conference that has gained strength with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas.
