Report-Raiders Closing Secret Deal To Sign Jets MVP In A Blockbuster Trade

The New York Jets don’t seem to care how many times Davante Adams denies speculations that he wants to depart the Las Vegas Raiders. Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback, has made no secret of his desire to play with the talented wide receiver once more. He recently reiterated this desire, implying that the two will once again be playing at the same time.

According to Vegas Sports Today, Aaron Rodgers remarked, “I love Davante Adams, I can’t wait to play with him… again,” at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament on July 11.

I think Rodgers was saying that he would like to play for the Jets with Adams, but what about the Raiders? For years, New York has been among the NFL’s most dysfunctional teams, and if the squad fails to make the playoffs once more, there will probably be significant coaching changes. Should Rodgers prove insufficient to lead the team to the postseason, they might want to contemplate accepting a rebuild.

It is well known that Adams desired to have Rodgers with the Raiders prior to his trade to the Jets. In addition, Luke Getsy, who worked with Aaron Rodgers for a number of years on the Green Bay Packers, is the offensive coordinator for the team. He recently gave the coach accolades as well. The Raiders have attractive offensive weapons and were a stronger club than the Jets in the previous campaign.

The Raiders would be a logical choice if the Jets choose to rebuild but Aaron Rodgers isn’t prepared to hang up his helmet after the 2024 campaign.
