Rest In Peace: Forever In Our Hearts” Minnesota Wild Legend Dies In Plane Crash….

Saint Paul, Minnesota – The Minnesota Wild announced today that, during the 2023–24 season, the Minnesota Wild Foundation donated a total of $1,311,732 to local organizations through grants and Split the Pot Raffle earnings, all thanks to the tremendous generosity of Wild fans, donors, business, and community partners.

“Every year, our fans’ unwavering support makes the impact the Wild Foundation has within the State of Hockey possible,” stated Scott Peterson, the board chair of the Minnesota Wild Foundation. “The board of directors and The Wild Foundation are thrilled to keep up our support of youth hockey associations, charities, and community programs that help make our wonderful game more accessible to everyone.”

The annual Minnesota Wild Foundation Gala proceeds raised $200,000 for the Children’s Minnesota Mental Health program at the Children’s Minnesota Foundation. Additionally, the Wild Foundation’s yearly Whiskey and Wine with the Wild event, which took place on February 17 and was hosted by Zach and Bianca Bogosian, gave the Children’s Minnesota Foundation $30,000, and the Crazy Game of Hockey event, which took place on July 8, gave $5,000. In order to launch a Brooklyn Park DinoMights chapter, DinoMights was granted $60,000. Additionally, DinoMights won $25,000 to fund their annual Learn 2 Skate recruiting program, which offers youngsters in Minneapolis and Saint Paul chances for academics, mentorship, and spiritual growth in addition to hockey play. The initiative is called Hockey Is For Everyone Youth Hockey Program.
