It Has Happened Again”: Detroit Lions Coach Dan Campbell was killed today after being attacked by a group of people.
As he has emerged from being labeled by some as a “knee cap biting” neanderthal during his initial news conference, Dan Campbell’s goal for the Detroit Lions that day has nearly materialized.
If there’s one thing that’s clear as day, it’s how much Campbell has encouraged the Lions players to believe in themselves, as evidenced by the current results. And with this interview conducted prior to the Raiders’ Monday night game the previous season as proof, how could a player not want to run through a mental wall for him?
Like they are for any player or players, Campbell is clearly adored by Lions supporters as well. For heaven’s sake, he had once said that he wanted an actual lion on the sidelines, but the NFL got in the way.
In 2023, Campbell said on the “Pardon My Take” podcast, “I’m not going to point out Roger (Goodell) on this, I’m just going to say the league frowns on that, let’s just say that.”

Naturally, there’s a lot of interest in what the Lions might do in the upcoming year. On Saturday, rookies will arrive for training camp, assuming that the worldwide technological outage doesn’t cause any delays in their arrival.
