It makes sense that these hurdlers and runners were thrilled to hear that they would be competing for both a $50,000 first prize cheque and an Olympic gold medal this summer.
This week during the U.S. track and field trials, American hurdler Dylan Beard remarked, “That’d be big,” while taking a break from his work at the Walmart Supercenter in Wake Forest, North Carolina. “I mean, with that much money, I wouldn’t even know what to do.”
