KY LOUISVILLE (AP) — Mike Pratt, a member of the Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame who guided the Wildcats to three SEC titles and two Elite Eight appearances, has away. He was seventy-three.
According to a statement from the school, Pratt, a men’s basketball radio color analyst for UK Sports Network since 2001, passed away on Thursday. There was no explanation of the cause.
The native of Ohio, who attended Kentucky from 1967 to 1970, was inducted into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019, the UK Athletics Hall of Fame in 2009, and the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame in 2010. In 81 career games at UK, the 6-foot-4 forward averaged 16.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest. Pratt concluded at Kentucky with 1,359 points and 718 rebounds, and he also had 29 double-doubles.
