After waiting six months for an explanation of their loved ones’ deaths, the bereaved relatives of three Chiefs fans who were discovered frozen to death outside their friend’s house claim that officials have stonewalled them.

After watching a game together in January, friends David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, were discovered dead in their friend Jordan Willis’ Kansas City, Missouri, backyard.

The three men’s families have yet to get an official cause of death after over six months, despite a toxicology study revealing a combination of fentanyl, cocaine, and THC in their systems. The medical examiner said their investigation was concluded on January 31, Fox 4 reported.

“Our office concluded the death’s cause and manner.”
