Report-Yankees Closing Secret Deal To Sign Dodgers MVP In A Blockbuster Trade
Prior to the July 30 deadline, the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees have been connected to a number of starting pitchers in MLB trade rumors. It seems that both Los Angeles and New York plan to seek a recently available veteran starter.
Both clubs have an obvious need for pitchers. The Yankees’ pitching staff has the third-worst ERA (4.77) in the majors going into today’s MLB games, dating back to June 1. Regarding Los Angeles, injuries have devastated its pitching staff, and both clubs’ starting rotations have been particularly troublesome.
