Congratulation: Rams QB Matthew Stafford Becomes Highest-Paid NFL Player At $86 Million Per Week After Agreeing To…..
Matthew Stafford is still one of the best quarterbacks in football, despite being one of the oldest players in the NFL at the age of 36. Although he has only been out of the Super Bowl twice, head coach Sean McVay will tell you that he thinks his starting quarterback is the best player to take the Los Angeles Rams back to the promised land.
Who’s to say he’s wrong? After leading the Rams to the postseason in a season when many not only wrote them off, but also anticipated that Coach McVay’s team would contend for a top-five choice, Stafford is coming off of a Pro Bowl campaign. Clearly, that did not occur, and Stafford plays a significant role in that.
But where do you think Stafford stood in relation to his colleagues when asked to rank the NFL’s greatest quarterbacks? Every year, NFL Network aims to accomplish that. The NFL Top 100 rankings have been released gradually in batches, and now that Stafford had a successful season, we finally know where he stood.
