This Is The Worst Day Of My Life” Lions Veteran WR Announce His Departure After Accusing GM Dan Campbell Of….
During the first week of the Detroit Lions training camp, Jameson Williams displayed his strong hands, but his stomach wasn’t nearly as strong.
The squad began training camp with the third-year wide receiver turning heads with impressive performances, but he also appeared to be sick, throwing up many times during the team’s early-morning practice on July 25.
However, head coach Dan Campbell was unfazed by Williams’ little illness following a difficult and disappointing start to his professional career.
Williams puked once during training after dodging two defenders and hauling in a touchdown reception. Williams then celebrated by jumping over a barrier, and when he got back on the field, he puked “four or five times,” according to Kyle Meinke of MLive.com.
The team’s medical staff paid the wide receiver a visit, but Meinke said he was cleared to resume practice and kept up his impressive performance.
Following the drill, Campbell responded to the practice accident in a lighthearted manner.
Campbell remarked, “He can throw up all he wants as long as he keeps making those plays.”
