Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever shocked fans by resigning earlier today.

Caitlin Clark, who caused controversy when she was left off of the USA women’s basketball team at the Olympics, has already returned to practice with the Indiana Fever.

Fans expressed outrage earlier in the summer when the rookie star was left off of the Olympic roster that was flown to Paris. Her rejection occurred as Clark kept drawing attention to the WNBA and breaking attendance and viewership records.

Even though their next game isn’t until August 16—after the Olympics—Clark is still committed to capping off her debut WNBA season strong and is back in the lab.

Clark was spotted on Tuesday getting ready for the remainder of the season at the Fever training facility.

Regarding the shoe, Clark remarked, “It’s pretty cool; I feel like it’s Fever but it’s also Iowa.” The finest of both worlds is what you get. Just wait for that one; I have another one that is even more Fever that you’ll definitely see me wear later.

“Yeah, you got the yellow, and they look kind of like the Bruce Lee shoes I wear, but they’re still different,” she continued. “I enjoy the swoosh of gold.” You cannot go wrong with the black and yellow combination.

Clark now leads the Fever in thefts, assists, and points in a race for rookie of the year against Angel Reese. 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 8.2 assists, and 1.5 steals are the rookie’s averages per game.
