Following their deal on Monday that sent outfielder Dylan Carlson to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for right-handed pitcher Shawn Armstrong, the St. Louis Cardinals were not done.

Tuesday saw a flurry of Dylan Carlson speculations following the Chicago White Sox’s trade for Tommy Pham. Prior to spring training, Carlson was expected to be a regular center fielder for the Cards. Regretfully, he was sidelined until May due to an injury sustained during spring training. He had a 1.38 ERA, a 0.904 WHIP, two home runs allowed, and eleven walks during this time.
