Following the early removal of Patriots rookie cornerback Isaiah Bolden off the field in the fourth quarter, the preseason game between New England and the Green Bay Packers was canceled on Saturday night.

The seventh-round selection from Jackson State, Bolden, seemed to bump into teammate Calvin Munson as he tried to block a ball that was completed to Malik Heath of Green Bay. Both teams came off their respective sidelines and took to the field, with some players taking a knee, while medical personnel attended to Bolden.

Following Bolden’s carriage off the field, the two teams met and agreed not to play the remainder of the game. With 10:29 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Patriots led 21-17 when the game was paused.
