Given that the whole NBA community is focused on the events unfolding in Paris, it makes sense that some Dallas Mavericks supporters may have temporarily diverted their attention from Kyrie Irving.

The guard’s decision to take a break from basketball in order to concentrate on recovering physically and mentally following the demanding season his team had will not be forgotten by supporters. Furthermore, he is forced to avoid the game due to surgery on his left hand.

While many of Team USA’s players are focused on assisting the squad in winning the gold medal in Paris, Irving was reportedly seen making the most of his holiday by hanging out in a different part of Europe.

Irving avoided the chaos of Paris in order to enjoy some well-earned relaxation and time with his loved ones in Greece.

The Greek Reporter’s Tasos Kokkinidis reported that the guard was seen having a blast with his loved ones:

The famous Canale restaurant in the town of Chania is where the Dallas Mavericks guard was spotted dining with his family.

According to a story in Mykonoslive.tv, the 32-year-old American, who was pictured with the restaurant’s owner Maximos Petrochilos and manager Giorgos Chlorakis, had some Cretan meals and was so impressed with the flavors and service that he gave a €500 tip for the staff.
