Tommy Pham led St. Louis with three hits and two runs scored while beginning in left field. In his Major League Baseball debut, Michael McGreevy pitched seven innings, leading the Cardinals to a 10-1 victory over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday.

Pham made his debut with a pinch-hit grand slam on Tuesday after being traded back to St. Louis in a three-team deal. After being chosen by the Cardinals in 2006, he started his career with them.

It’s the procedure, Pham clarified. “Try to have a good at-bat and stay inside the strike zone.”

Alec Burleson and Michael Siani each had two RBIs, and Brendan Donovan added three more. The Cardinals amassed 14 hits against four opponents, with Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt each recording two hits.

After being called up from Triple-A Memphis, McGreevy pitched seven innings, giving up five hits and one run before leaving the field to a standing ovation.
