Roger Federer designs super racket inspired by his….
Even though he formally bid farewell to the Laver Cup in 2022, Roger Federer is still active in the tennis world. But the Swiss Maestro has never given up on tennis entirely. He is frequently spotted helping to plan the Laver Cup editions or attending the biggest competitions, like Wimbledon.
Federer has since created a new racket named the RF 01, inspired by his four children, in collaboration with Wilson, his former technical racket brand. Throughout his illustrious career, Roger Federer has consistently utilized Wilson rackets—equipment that has helped the Swiss player achieve 21 years of victories and records. Roger shared his considerations regarding the racket’s features in a chat with Tim Henman for Forbers.
We swiftly arrived at a point when I began to consider the weight, size, and geometry of the frame while doing comprehensive racquet testing. I wasn’t sure what I needed to regain when we started developing it. I began to consider what other players might be able to utilize as well,” Federer said to Newcomb.
