2024 has seen some outstanding individual play thus far, highlighted by a run that may go down as one of the greatest in league history by A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces. She was therefore unquestionably going to maintain her position as the top player on ESPN’s list of the top 25 WNBA players, which is now being updated through the (unofficial) first half of the season.

Two first-year players who are tied for Rookie of the Year are among the newcomers on this list.

Though the Olympics in Paris may be finished, there’s still hope for the 2024 WNBA season as it begins on Thursday. The season promises to be exciting, with a competitive regular season followed by an apparently endless postseason run.
