Done Deal: Utah Key Star Lauri Markkanen Has Just Conclude His Discussion With The Sacramento Kings” Four Years….
This summer, Sacramento Kings rumors have connected the team to possible trades for Zach LaVine, Alex Caruso, and Brandon Ingram. Now that Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen is making an appearance in NBA rumors, we may know how much it would cost Sacramento to get into a deal.
Over the past year, the Kings front office has failed in several trade negotiations. Prior to the NBA trade deadline, Sacramento made an attempt to acquire Pascal Siakam, but the Indiana Pacers outbid them. A few months later, the Oklahoma City Thunder acquired Alex Caruso from the Chicago Bulls, who had accepted Sacramento’s offer of the 13th overall pick.
Over the weekend, Markkanen’s name surfaced in NBA trade rumors. Utah has begun to consider trade queries for its All-Star forward after failing to acquire Mikal Bridges or Trae Young. Although it’s not official yet, there’s a perception in the NBA that a deal could close this summer.
Among the teams interested in Markkanen are the Kings. The San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, and Minnesota Timberwolves are among the teams who have expressed a strong interest in the 7-foot forward in addition to Sacramento. Utah is asking for a ridiculously high price, especially if Sacramento is open to a compromise.
