Another Two Mega-Star Commit To Knight Riders….
Many of their seasoned domestic players, like Russell, Pollard, Narine, and Bravo, have also been kept on.
Tim David and Jason Roy have signed with the Trinbago Knight Riders for the 2024 Caribbean Premier League season. Additionally, they have kept Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Dwayne Bravo, their core group of seasoned West Indies stalwarts.
The Knight Riders have also decided to keep hold of Akeal Hosein, who made history recently by being the first spinner to take five wickets for the West Indies in a Twenty20 International against Uganda. Other players who have been retained include seamers Jayden Seales and Terrance Hinds, as well as batsmen Mark Deyal and Keacy Carty. With two more spots available in the July draft, TKR can add two more players to their current team of fifteen.
The overseas players that Knight Riders have retained include left-arm wristspinner Waqar Salamkheil, fast bowlers Josh Little and Ali Khan, and bowler Waqar Little.
Although 2019 will be Roy’s first season in the CPL, David has participated in the competition previously, having made his debut for the St Lucia Kings in 2021. Additionally, Knight Riders signed him on as a backup player for the CPL in 2023.
