Jalen Brunson To Miss The Most Highly Anticipated NBA Summer Legue Match….

A week before the Money In the Bank Premium Live Event, WWE SmackDown took place live from the infamous Madison Square Garden in New York City. On that show, Logan Paul wrestled in a triple threat match against Santos Escobar and LA Knight in a Money In The Bank Qualifying match. One of the stars who made a special appearance on the show was one of the top athletes of the New York Knicks, Jalen Brunson. While speaking on the latest episode of the Roommates Show, Jalen Brunson shared his experience of being a part of SmackDown at the MSG.

“But, yeah, it was cool, and then I got a call. I got a call from a guy named Paul, and Paul was talking to me. I was like, ‘Wait. I can’t call you Paul. Your name is not Paul, your name is Triple H. I’m not calling you Paul. This is not how it’s gonna go.'” We talked on the phone, and yeah, it came up with an idea just to get me out there. I flew back from Chicago that morning and then, yeah, made my way to The Garden. It was definitely something that I was like, and it was definitely more nerve-wracking than playing basketball. I felt like that about it, but it was fun.

“It was completely worthwhile… After Levesque and I had been chatting in a group chat, he called me, and I hung up. You know how you try to act casual after hanging up the phone? “Yeah, yeah man.” It sounds fantastic, really good. I was like, “I was just on the phone with Triple H!” after getting off the phone. I was ecstatic. I won’t lie; I was excited. He’s a really nice guy, and everyone there was amazing. It was fantastic to meet LA Knight as well. Everything about that, the entire experience was fantastic in my opinion. [Post-Wrestling H/T]
