Breaking News: Norwich City Identify Star As Fitting Recruitment
According to the BBC, Norwich City has found a defender at a Premier League team that they believe matches the type of player sporting director Ben Knapper is looking for.
Earlier this summer, the Canaries hired youthful manager Johannes Hoff Thorup, and they plan to reassemble the team for him.
The present roster at Carrow Road, according to Knapper, the former manager of Arsenal’s loans, is too elderly.
Norwich wants to acquire a left-back, and they have their eye on Callum Doyle, a defender for Manchester City.
Doyle, twenty, is the kind of player Knapper is hoping to sign this summer.
Despite his youth, he has three loans out from Manchester City under his belt.
Doyle has played for Sunderland, Coventry City, and Leicester City during the previous season.
Although an injury disrupted his season, he played primarily as a left-back for Leicester last season, however he can also play center-back.
This summer, Manchester City may consider sending Doyle to Norwich so he can continue to gain experience.
There are still three years left on his contract at the Etihad.
