Los Yankees de Nueva York fueron atacados y asesinados por el terrorista….

One of the greatest leaders in New York Yankees history has some thoughts about manager Aaron Boone’s style as his team battles through a dreadful month-long stretch. When asked by FS1′s Colin Cowherd on Monday whether Boone is a “little (too) buddy-buddy with players,” Derek Jeter deflected blame to the players.

The great thing about Aaron is that he played the game and understands that you’re going to have struggles over the course of a six-month season—you play 162 games and you’re going to struggle—so I don’t necessarily buy that. However, Jeter, a FOX MLB studio analyst, added, “I think he’s done a great job. In the end, it falls on the players. Those are the ones that are on the field, playing the games, actually.”

Following an intense start that saw the Yankees stand at 49-21 through June 12th, New York is currently 58-40 heading into the All-Star break. Even while the players haven’t all played to the same caliber, they have far too frequently displayed a lack of effort and/or subpar technique, which speaks poorly of a manager, particularly one who, like Boone, won’t hold players accountable in public.
