Adam Zimmer, the offensive analyst for the Cincinnati Bengals, passed away suddenly, as his family verified on social media.

The 38-year-old was the son of former NFC North team captain Mike Zimmer of the Minnesota Vikings, who served as head coach from 2014 to 2021. Zimmer had collaborated extensively with his father on projects for the Bengals and Vikings, among other NFL teams. After rejoining the Bengals, Zimmer had been working remotely, but it has been reported that he did not attend Monday night’s loss to the Cleveland Browns. Cincinnati made a release confirming the sad news, while details of his death are still unknown.
