As the MLB trade deadline draws near, teams are feeling more and more pressured to finish building their rosters in the hopes that they will be adequate for a World Series triumph come October. Aaron Judge hopes the New York Yankees recruit a couple more players to bolster their roster, even if they recently defeated the fierce Philadelphia Phillies 14–4.

When the Yankees acquired Jazz Chisholm Jr. from the struggling Miami Marlins, it was already a blockbuster transaction. However, New York cannot afford to take its success for granted. Aaron Judge is aware that the Yankees haven’t exactly been playing their best ball over the last month or two, and that adding another impact player may significantly improve their chances of contending for the World Series title. Their rivals are preparing for the stretch run.
