The star player for the New England Patriots, Christian Barmore, has being treated at Mass General Brigham following his diagnosis of blood clots, the team has stated.

Barmore turned 25 on July 28. The Patriots stated in a statement posted on the team’s official website that “there is no timetable” for when he would return to the field.

The defensive tackle was “tested, evaluated, and treated” by doctors at Mass General Brigham, according to the team, who also wished for a good and quick recovery for him.

“At this moment, Christian’s health and welfare are our main concerns. Thankfully, Mass General Brigham offers some of the world’s greatest medical care,” the Patriots stated in their statement.
