Report-Louisville Basketball Closing Secret Deal To Sign MVP On A Blockbuster Trade

It’s been a wild spring and summer for New Orleans native Chris Cenac. The 5-star prospect, who will attend Link Academy in Branson, Mo., for his senior season, has seen his recruitment explode. Cenac went from around a dozen offers to begin the spring to more than 30 scholarship offers after his stellar play in multiple events, including the NBA Top 100 Camp and on the Puma circuit. Cenac, who was named the Pro 16 regular-season MVP on the Puma circuit, is expected to narrow his list soon.

The University of Louisville is one team that entered the mix a few months ago and appears to still be in favor of Cenac; he told Cardinal Authority last week that he still talks with U of L assistant coach Ronnie Hamilton “all the time.” “It’s probably going to get hard once I start thinking about it because there are so many options,” Cenac told Cardinal Authority.
