ESPN REPORT: Rams Hit Another Five-Star On A Blockbuster Trade
After several weeks, Demarcus Robinson was able to break into the Los Angeles Rams starting lineup. He hasn’t turned around since then. His use (and stats) increased almost immediately after he started playing in Week 12 and ended up having one of his greatest games ever against the New York Giants with 10 targets, 6 receptions, and 92 yards.
This offseason, Robinson signed a new one-year contract with the Rams. Rams training camp has begun, and it appears like Robinson will continue where he left off from the previous year.
Demarcus Robinson Continues With The Los Angeles Rams Where He Left Off
Having been here for more than a year, Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur stated, “now that he’s gotten more and more comfortable in the system, getting more comfortable with Matthew Stafford has been big for him.”
The Rams have consistently searched for the ideal foil for their two best receivers, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods or, more recently, Kupp and Puka Nacua. A couple misfires from the previous year were trying to track down the third guy. Throughout the first half of the season, Robinson and Van Jefferson both saw action, but Robinson emerged as the winner and turned out to be a good match for the Rams’ developing offense.
