Done Deal: Guardians Lands With Second Top pitcher On Market Zone Worth 250 Million With….
Ohio’s Cleveland Manager Stephen Vogt told reporters on Thursday that Guardians pitcher Tanner Bibee will not play the Orioles and that his next start will be postponed until at least beyond this weekend due to right shoulder soreness.
at his last start on Monday at Detroit, Bibee gave up two runs on seven hits in six innings. After the performance, Vogt claimed his shoulder became tight, and he decided not to pitch again until after Baltimore had left town.
Vogt stated, “We just want to make sure that we’re being wise.” Thus, we will postpone him until after the weekend.
On Saturday, Cleveland’s rookie left-hander Joey Cantillo will take the mound against Zach Eflin of Baltimore. Cantillo made his major league debut on Sunday in Philadelphia, giving up three runs on four hits, including two home runs to Kyle Schwarber. That game was ultimately won 4-3 by the Guardians.
