Sad News: Jets Star Player Terminated His Contract After Quarrelling With Coach.

Aaron Rodgers might be getting some more firepower from the New York Jets.

Veteran wide receiver Jarvis Landry was one of the names that worked out for the Jets this week, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. The 31-year-old Landry is making an attempt to return to the NFL after missing the whole 2023 campaign with an ankle ailment.

During his NFL career, Landry has played for the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns, and New Orleans Saints. He is a five-time Pro Bowler and has three seasons of at least 1,000 yards receiving. With 112. catches in the 2017 season, he set a league record.

However, in more recent years, Landry’s output has gradually declined. Before going on season-ending injured reserve in 2022, he last recorded 25 receptions for 272 yards and just one touchdown in five games for New Orleans.

The Jets, who recently signed wide receiver Isaiah Winstead from the same workout group this week, may not be able to sign Landry. However, he did appear to have admirers in Rodgers at one point, and he will probably keep trying to receive another opportunity in the NFL.
