Sad News: the New York Jets Lose Two Key Players Due To Injury Issue

On Friday, August 2, the New York Jets’ starting five players on the offensive line exercised as a unit for the first time this summer.

The final player the Jets were holding out for was Morgan Moses. The veteran decided to play with a torn pec sustained during his time with the Baltimore Ravens last season.

For the first time since his 2014 rookie season, he missed a game in 2023. Moses had made 130 consecutive appearances in games from 2015 to 2022. This past season, the modern-day NFL ironman played in 14 games, seeing 84% of the offensive snaps while playing in a rotational position.
