Bennett stated on Tuesday that he feels rejuvenated and ready to play again. The University of Georgia’s two-time national champion is taking part in the Rams’ offseason organized team activities. The Rams selected Bennett in the fourth round after he won his second national title with the Bulldogs in January 2023. He took part in Los Angeles’ team workouts and played significantly during the preseason, competing to be Matthew Stafford’s backup under coach Sean McVay.

However, Bennett left the Rams prior to the start of the regular season and did not return in 2023.
