The team made big trades to get go of Josh Green and Tim Hardaway Jr., and they also let Derrick Jones Jr. sign a contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. In exchange, they added players like Klay Thompson, Quentin Grimes, and Naji Marshall to strengthen their roster.
The Mavs have been busy this offseason, and the latest addition is the one-year minimum deal that guard Spencer Dinwiddie, 31, signed. Although Dinwiddie’s signing was first announced on July 22, it was confirmed on Saturday morning. After spending a season with the Brooklyn Nets and a brief stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, Dinwiddie is returning to Dallas with this agreement.
