Breaking: Dallas Cowboys final 2024 53-man roster For….

On September 8, 2024, the Dallas Cowboys take on the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium in the NFL regular season opener.

Could a team in need of a quarterback make contact with the Cowboys to trade Trey Lance or Cooper Rush, Dak Prescott’s backups? Would Dallas even pay attention? Though unproven, the Cowboys appreciate the depth of their offensive line. One major problem is the depth of the defensive line.

By Tuesday at 4 PM ET, there will be 53 players remaining on the roster. For the Cowboys, consider this projection:

QUARTERBACKS (3): Cooper Rush, Trey Lance, and Dak Prescott

Although Lance became better in the preseason, Rush is probably going to be Prescott’s primary backup going into the regular season. Will this be Prescott’s final season with the Cowboys? He is in the penultimate year of his deal.

Here, veteran Royce Freeman is duped by a numerical game. Since his style is comparable to Elliott’s, there is less need to replicate talents. Davis can be a key member of the special team and has had a great summer. The coaches must put together a plan for Vaughn that will justify his roster spot.

Mike McCarthy, his coach, adores him. He’s capable of playing fullback. He is capable of one-back ball carry schemes. He is a tight end who can line up. Besides, he’s a main special team member.

WIDE RECEIVERS: Ryan Flournoy, Jalen Brooks, KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, CeeDee Lamb, and Brandin Cooks

Flournoy may not be used on game day, but he has shown enough promise to be claimed if he is made available on waivers. Although he is undeveloped, he plays with a suddenness. Tolbert has benefited from the snaps without Lamb in camp and has the potential to contribute more than Michael Gallup did in the No. 3 position during the previous campaign.
