Report Kentucky Make A Bold Step To Sign Oregon State MVP In A Blockbuster Trade
The thirteenth and last member of Kenny Brooks’ 2024–25 roster has been added by the new Kentucky coach.
Dominika Paurova, a transfer from Oregon State, committed to the UK on social media on Wednesday, and the Wildcats have now signed her.
As a freshman, the 6-foot-1 guard shot 37.2% from 3-point range and averaged 5.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 16.5 minutes per game. He also helped the Beavers to a 27-8 record and an Elite 8 participation this season. In 27 minutes off the bench, Paurova scored 17 points on 3 of 4 3-point shooting, added three assists, and two steals in a 73-51 victory over Eastern Washington in the NCAA Tournament’s opening round.
On April 12, she logged onto the transfer portal.
Originally from the Czech Republic’s Mlada Boleslav Paurova also has a wealth of experience with the national squad. Paurova shot 40% from 3-point range and averaged 17.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists during the FIBA U19 Women’s Basketball World Cup in Madrid, Spain, last summer.
Joining All-American point guard Georgia Amoore (Virginia Tech), 6-foot-5 freshman center Clara Strack (Virginia Tech), 6-foot-4 forward Teonni Key (North Carolina), 5-foot-8 guard Dazia Lawrence (Charlotte), and 6-foot-1 guard Jordan Obi (Penn) as Kentucky’s additions through the transfer portal this offseason is Paurova.
Tanah Becker, a 6-foot-1 Canadian guard, 6-foot-2, 4-star Florida wing Lexi Blue, 6-foot-3 junior college transfer Amelia Hassett, and 6-foot-7 Portuguese center Clara Silva are other new additions to the Wildcat roster.
