Two of our own Washington State Cougars were hoping to hear their names called over this past Wednesday and Thursday, June 26 and 27, which was the 2024 NBA Draft, as I’m sure you’re all aware.

Following a call from Memphis, Jaylen Wells has joined the Grizzlies! We are incredibly proud of him.Additionally, our beloved Isaac Jones inked a great two-way contract with the Kings last night.

Since my friend Bryce is a fan of the Kings, you guys must know him, therefore I am very excited for him. Nothing compares to your favorite college player getting signed by your dream professional team (yeah, this is just a pretext for me to tell you all how amazing my life was for the short period of time CJ Elleby was a Portland Trail Blazer).

Wikipedia states that the NBA two-way contact originated in the 2017–18 season and was designed to link an NBA team to its G–League affiliate. The Stockton Kings are the G-League team for the Kings! Here’s where you can read more about them. Let’s all agree to ignore the purple for the sake of this one instance. In essence, Jones has an opportunity with this contract.

Isaac, congratulations! We’re so happy for you. Go dominate the league! Support the Cougs.
